Portable applications, which you can
take with you on e. g. an USB stick, are "in".
You can make Lotus Symphony portable
using a small trick:
1. Install Lotus Symphony as you would
normally do.
2. Copy the directory, you have Symphony
installed in.
3. Below this directory, edit the file
framework\rcp\rcplauncher.properties
and change this row
rcp.data=${env.USERPROFILE}/IBM/Lotus/Symphony/
into
rcp.data=workplace
You are done.
